Who needs oysters and champagne when we can use the Mediterranean diet?

 

The Mediterranean diet, for a research by Eliana Monti, is considered by the Italians as the most powerful aphrodisiac of the world.

 

There are two types of typical alimonies of the Mediterranean diet:

  1. The Chili pepper
  2. The Saffron

 

 

That favor the expansion of the penis veins and to provoke a greater sexual appetite.

 

Between the other products that concur to render the Italians one of the most hot people of the world are the “Pecorino” cheese marked by the 16% of the interviewed. This is due to the “feniletilamina” , a substance that produces the same sense of folling in love for the brain.

 

The last food considered is the bistick of meat chianina for 15% of users.

 

The main recipes are:

 

  • Nduja calabra: A soft, spicy hot, spreadable salami. Nduja is made with pork meat, a bit of fat, salt and a lot of red pepper. In general, nduja is extremely spicy. It’s also great for the heart and tastes wonderful.
  • Milanese Risotto

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cups uncooked Arborio rice
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, divided
  • 1/2 quarts beef stock
  • 3 tablespoons beef marrow
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon saffron powder
  • 3/4 cup dry white wine
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese

Another interesting study is that one where were tested the effect of a Mediterranean-style diet on sexual function in women with the metabolic syndrome.

 

After 2 years, women on the Mediterranean diet consumed more fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grain and olive oil. Female sexual function index (FSFI) improved in the intervention group.

 

No single sexual domain (desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction, pain) was significantly ameliorated by the dietary treatment, suggesting that the whole female sexuality may find benefit from lifestyle changes.
