  • 1 cup of skim milk
  • 2 teaspoons of refined sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
  • 10 ice cubes


  1. Put all of the ingredients in a blender or a suitable container if you are using an immersion blender.
  2. Blend the ingredients at high power for about five seconds.
  3. Shake the mixture around so the larger cubes are closer to the blade.
  4. Repeat steps two and three until all ice cubes are reduced to fine grains and all ingredients are well combined.
  5. Pour the skim milk granita into a serving bowl. Serve the dessert with a straw, spoon or both.
