Recipe: Italian Dressing Mix
Summary: Easy to prepare, easy to use and delicious too, this wonderful dressing will be a delightful topping to any salad and could very well be the one thing most remembered.
Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon of onion powder
- 1 Tablespoon of garlic salt
- 1 Tablespoon of dried oregano
- 1 Tablespoon of white sugar
- 1 Tablespoon of dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- 2 Tablespoons of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of celery salt
Instructions
- Combine onion powder, garlic salt, oregano, sugar, thyme, pepper, parsley, basil, salt and celery salt in a bowl. Transfer to a tightly sealed container for storage.
- When ready to prepare the dressing, whisk together 2/3 c. canola oil, 1/4 c. white vinegar, 2 T. water and 2 T. of the prepared dry mix.
