Recipe: Italian Dressing Mix

Summary: Easy to prepare, easy to use and delicious too, this wonderful dressing will be a delightful topping to any salad and could very well be the one thing most remembered.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon of onion powder
  • 1 Tablespoon of garlic salt
  • 1 Tablespoon of dried oregano
  • 1 Tablespoon of white sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon of dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried basil
  • 2 Tablespoons of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of celery salt

Instructions

  1. Combine onion powder, garlic salt, oregano, sugar, thyme, pepper, parsley, basil, salt and celery salt in a bowl. Transfer to a tightly sealed container for storage.
  2. When ready to prepare the dressing, whisk together 2/3 c. canola oil, 1/4 c. white vinegar, 2 T. water and 2 T. of the prepared dry mix.
