Recipe: Tuna Sandwich with Hummus
Summary: This is an alternative choice to the every day mayo-drenched tuna salad. It’s fantastic on a wholemeal bread sandwich with melted mozzarella.
Ingredients
- 1 (6 oz .) can tuna in water, drained and flaked
- 1 tbsp . red onion, diced
- 1 tsp . fresh oregano, minced
- 1 tsp . fresh rosemary, minced
- 1 tbsp . diced green chile pepper
- black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsps . hummus
Instructions
- Combine tuna, hummus, red onion, oregano, rosemary, green chile pepper, and pepper in a bowl.
Quick notes
You can also ad celery, Asiago cheese plus a pinch of red pepper flakes in place of chile pepper
